  6. You must run QUICK SETUP from the Main Menu and select an appropriate
  7. monitor type, prior to installing the WordPerfect Display Driver.

  17. 1.0     Installation Notes for WordPerfect 5.x
  18.  
  19. 1) Make sure that WordPerfect has already been installed on your hard drive.
  20.  
  21. 2) To complete the install successfully, you will require the following
  22.    information:
  23.  
  24.    a) The full path name of the WordPerfect directory.
  25.  
  26. 3) From the Install Enhanced Drivers menu select WORDPERFECT.
  27.  
  28. 4) Select WordPerfect 5.x and follow the screen instructions to completion.
  29.  
  30. 5) When the INSTALL reports that the driver has been successfully installed,
  31.    exit the program.
  32.  
  33. 6) Change directory to the WordPerfect subdirectory and run WordPerfect.
  34.  
  35. 7) Select display driver in Setup option <shift><F1>.
  36.  
  37. 8) Press <D> for Display.
  38.  
  39. 9) Press <G> for Graphics Screen Type and select ATI MACH64.

  41. 10) Select the desired resolution.

  47. 2.0     Installation Notes for WordPerfect 6.0
  48.  
  49. This card supports the VESA Super-VGA BIOS extension.  The supported
  50. VESA modes depend on the monitor type selected during INSTALL.
  51.  
  52. 1. To select the high resolution display mode, run WordPerfect 6.0.
  53.  
  54. 2. Run WordPerfect Setup and select the VESA VBE driver.
  55.  
  56. 3. Select the proper screen resolution.
  57.  
  58. 4. Press < Enter > as prompted.  When you exit the Setup
  59.    program, you will be in the selected mode.
