  2. "wreckoning" -- once again creeps up on us, do you
  3. find yourself surrounded by scraps of paper and
  4. financial anxiety? If so, it's time to turn your
  5. trusty Macintosh into a powerful tool for
  6. record-keeping order and financial profit.

  10. the Macintosh RoundTable Library. Searching the
  11. Library using keywords such as TAX, FINANCE, MONEY,
  12. and BUSINESS, will reveal yet more useful files to
  13. meet general and specialized needs alike. Some of
  14. the files cataloged here are stand-alone
  15. applications, while others are templates for
  16. commercial programs such as Excel, ClarisWorks, and
  17. FileMaker.

  21. Many of the most useful finance-related files come
  22. from GEnie user H.LECTOR. He describes MONEYTRACK
  23. 1.0 (file #27991) by saying: "Tax time is made easy
  24. with MoneyTracker. It's so simple (none of that
  25. asset/liability stuff that the major programs place
  26. you through). MoneyTracker tracks each expense by
  27. category (medical, unreimbursed business,
  28. auto/home, utilities, personal, spouse personal,
  29. and others) and, at the end of each year or other
  30. set time period you simply hit the button marked
  31. "summary" and BAM, out comes the report by
  32. category. Your accountant will love you. This is a
  33. limited access version requiring a nominal fee for
  34. encoded full access." This one requires FileMaker.

  36. ClarisWorks owners should definitely take a look at
  37. the two-file set in #29600 FINANCE.01.SIT and
  38. #29690 FINANCE.02.SIT. These collections include a
  39. variety of templates for checking, insurance
  40. analysis, net worth, capital gains, personal
  41. property management, education funding, and much
  42. more.

  46. The FileMaker Pro applications collected in CORIE!
  47. 2.0V8.SIT provide a comprehensive solution to
  48. managing personal and business records. These
  49. interconnected programs work together to help you
  50. access, exchange, and locate information quickly,
