  49. If you have been using MyoClocker v1.0 and don't want to lose your
  50. existing
  51. data DO NOT install from this setup program.  Download the update files
  52. from
  53. our website

  57. Like all of Myoclonic Design's software, MyoClocker is freeware because
  58. that's the way it should be.  Please feel free to distribute it as you

  74. Until then this readme file will highlight some of the less obvious
  75. features.

  77. 1.  Right click in the lists to bring up popup menus for quicker access
  78. to
  79.     functions like insert, delete and edit.
  80.  
  81. 2.  Pressing the Insert, Delete or Enter keys will insert a new record,
  82.     delete the selected record or edit the selected record respectively
  83.         while in a list.
  84.  
  85. 3.  The consulant that you select on the Project screen is simply the
  86. default
  87.     consultant for the work done on that.  That consultant does not have
  88.     to be
  89.         the only one who does work for that project.
  90.  
  91. 4.  Standard rate is the default billing rate for the project.  This can
  92. be
  93.     overridden in the Task screen.
  94.  
  95. 5.  Active fields hide the records without deleteing them when Active
  96. Only
  97.     is selected from the View menu.
  98.  
  99. 6.  For those of you not familiar with accounting terms, posting invoices
  100.     and time sheets is the process that builds the invoices or time
  101.     sheets
  102.         for a specified date range.
  103.  
  104. 7.  You cannot delete anything that is related to a posted invoice or
  105. time
  106.     sheet.
  107.  
  108. 8.  Posting the same date range or overlapping date ranges will not
  109. result
  110.     the same work showing up twice on two different time sheets or
  111.     invoices.
  112.  
  113. 9.  Cancelling an invoice is equivalent to deleting it.
  114.  
  115. 10. A work record is posted to an invoice or time sheet when it's end
  116. date
  117.     falls within the specified dates.
  118.  
  119. 11. BEFORE POSTING INVOICES THIS MUST BE DONE: On the Configuration
  120. screen,
  121.     the Lead Consultant is the consultant whose name and address show up
  122.     on
  123.         the invoices.  This doesn not have to be a real person but
  124.         instead you
  125.             could make up a fake consultant with the name of your
  126.             companyinstead
  127.                 of a person's name.

  129. 12. BEFORE POSTING INVOICES THIS MUST BE DONE: On the Configuration
  130. screen,
  131.     the Invoice Type is the way in which the detail on the invoices are
  132.         summarized.  For example, use the following structure.  And
  133.         suppose each
  134.             task has a total of 5 hours of work underneath it.
