  2. How to Install BookCAT 98
  3. =========================

  5. From hard disk
  6. --------------

  8. 1. Ensure that the BookCAT installation files 
  9.    
  10.       SETUP.EXE
  11.       SETUP.2
  12.       SETUP.3
  13.  
  14.    are in the same folder, for example C:\TMP.
  15.  
  16. 2. From the Start menu, choose Run.
  17.  
  18.    You see the Run dialog box.
  19.  
  20. 3. Type the path to the installation program in the Open 
  21.    text box, for example C:\TMP\SETUP, and choose OK.
  22.  
  23. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen. When requested, 
  24.    specify the folder where you want to install BookCAT. 
  25.    Unless you specify a different folder, the application 
  26.    will be installed to C:\Program Files\BookCAT32.

  28. 5. When the installation is completed, you can delete the 
  29.    files (SETUP.EXE, SETUP.2 and SETUP.3) in the temporary 
  30.    folder.

  32. 6. To start BookCAT, choose Programs / BookCAT 98 from the
  33.    Start menu.

  36. From diskette
  37. -------------

  39. 1. Insert diskette number 1 into your diskette drive.
  40.  
  41. 2. From the Start menu, choose Run.
  42.  
  43.    You see the Run dialog box.

  45. 3. In the Open text box, type the path to the installation 
  46.    program, for example A:\SETUP, and choose OK.
  47.  
  48. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen. When requested, 
  49.    specify the folder where you want to install BookCAT. 
  50.    Unless you specify a different folder, the application 
  51.    will be installed to C:\Program Files\BookCAT32.

  53. 5. To start BookCAT, choose Programs / BookCAT 98 from the
  54.    Start menu.
