  2.                INSTALLING COELI - ADASTRA

  5.  Before you do anything else, place your mouse-pointer over the
  6.  time readout in your System Tray and make sure your PC's clock
  7.  is showing today's date. If not, you will need to double click
  8.  and set it before attempting to install this Coeli product.
  9.

  11. Windows automatic installation
  12. ------------------------------

  14. Your Adastra package is installed simply by double clicking on
  15. the file SETUP.EXE once you have unzipped the contents of
  16. Adastra.zip to a folder of your choosing.
  17.  
  18. We recommend the excellent WinZip utility for unpacking
  19. Adastra's main .zip archive. You can get the latest version
  20. of Winzip from

  24. If you have not already done so, we would additionally
  25. recommend that, prior to running SETUP.EXE, you use Explorer
  26. to create a new folder called Astronomy inside the Windows 95
  27. Start Menu folder. Just navigate to Windows\Start Menu and
  28. click with the right mouse button on some unoccupied space in
  29. Explorer's right-hand window. You'll see a popup menu, one of
  30. whose options will be |New|. Select |Folder| from the submenu,
  31. and name it 'Astronomy' or some other appropriate title. After
  32. setup, you will be able to manually move the shortcut named
  33. Adastra 2000 into this new folder for a tidier and more compact
  34. Start menu.

  36. Tip: when in doubt about the Win95 Explorer's file-listing,
  37. just press [F5] to refresh its display. Very often, an item you
  38. thought wasn't there will magically appear!

  40. THE SETUP UTILITY LEAVES ALL PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED FILES OF THE
  41. SAME NAME INTACT, SO WITHOUT FIRST REMOVING THE LAST
  42. INSTALLATION, A NEW COPY OF THE PACKAGE CANNOT BE INSTALLED.

  44. Adastra may be uninstalled at any time simply by opening
  45. Control Panel from the Settings entry in your Start Menu, and
  46. double- clicking on the item Add/Remove Programs. You will be
  47. shown a list of programs currently installed on your system,
  48. from which you should select the item 'Adastra 2000' for
  49. automatic removal.

  51. The complete Adastra package contains a number of text
  52. files, all designed to help you get started with the minimum
  53. of fuss. Have a browse through any item with the .TXT or .RTF
  54. extension if you've the time. Some of these will necessitate
  55. the selection of |Word Wrap| in Notepad or whichever text
  56. editor you elect to view them in.
