  4. Purpose:
  5. BCM Diagnostics is a Win95 based program which helps you diagnose
  6. problems of your PC running Microsoft Windows 95 operation system.
  7. It includes System Info, Processor Test, Memory Test, Audio Test,
  8. Video Test, Modem Test, Graphics Test, Harddisk Test, Floppy Test,
  9. CD-ROM Test, and Stress Test.  It also has a Resource Monitor and
  10. shortcuts to Microsoft Mouse, Joystick, and ScanDisk. A System
  11. Hardware Health Monitor is also included for system containing a
  12. LM78 chip.

  17. Unzip the "windiag.zip" with d switch. Example: pkunzip -d windiag.zip
  18. and run setup.exe in DISK1 directory. Please do not install Hardware
  19. System Health Monitor if your system board do not have a LM78 or WB3781
  20. hardware sensor chip.

  37. The installation and use of this SOFTWARE "BCM Diagnostics for Win95" indicates
  38. your understanding and acceptance of the following terms and conditions. This
  39. license shall supersede any verbal, or prior verbal or written, statement or
  40. agreement to the contrary. If you do not understand or accept these terms, or
  41. your local regulations prohibit "after sale" license agreements or limited
  42. disclaimers, you must cease and desist using this product immediately.

  45. COPYRIGHT and Warranty Policy:
  46. This SOFTWARE is owned by BCM and is protected by United States copyright laws
  47. and international treaty provisions. You may not reproduce or distribute the
  48. SOFTWARE or any written materials accompanying the SOFTWARE without written
  49. agreement from BCM.

  51. This SOFTWARE is provided on an "as-is" basis, and BCM makes no warranty
  52. or representation, express or implied, with respect to its quality performance
  53. or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will BCM be liable for direct,

  63. Operating License And Term
  64. Shareware Version: You have the non-exclusive right to use the product for
  65. 30 days for the purpose of evaluation. After the 30 days trail period, you
  66. must purchase the registered version, or discountinue using the product by
  67. removing it completely from your computer.

  69. Registered Version: You have the non-exclusive right to use the product only
  70. by a single person, or on a single computer at a time. If the product permits,
  71. you may physically transfer the product from one computer to another, provided
  72. that the product is used only by a single person, or on a single computer at a 
  73. time.

  75. You may not use, copy, modify, translate, or transfer the product or any copy
  76. except as expressly defined in this agreement. You may not attempt to unlock
  77. or bypass any copy-protection or authentication algorithm utilized by this
  78. product. You may not remove or modify any copyright notice, nor any "about"
  79. dialog or the method by which it may be invoked.

  81. This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it by destroying
  82. the complete product and all copies thereof. This license will also terminate
  83. if you fail to comply with any terms or conditions of this agreement.
  84. You agree upon such termination to destroy all copies of the software and of 
  85. the documentation, or return them to BCM. for disposal.
