  1. Ecstatica - Player's Guide
  2.  
  3. Recipe Number One 
  4. This recipe is located in the wizard's hut, which can be found on the right-hand 
  5. side of town. A drunken bear guards the staircase. Once you have all the 
  6. ingredients place them in the cauldron to the right of the recipe book and then 
  7. drink the potion to transform into a small rodent. Be careful though, you are now 
  8. small enough to be eaten by grass snakes or attacked by the imps.
  9. LEAF - This can be found in the first hut on the right as you approach the village 
  10. behind the closed door. Run from the werewolf and then collect the key found by
  11. the dying man to open the locked door.
  12. FLOWER - You will find this  in the outskirts of town, on the path towards the 
  13. monastery (turn right by the man skewered on to the inverted crucifix).
  14. TWIG - Found on the floor of the church, underneath the hanging monk (watch
  15. out for the snake!).
  16.     
  17. Teddy Bear 
  18. A small girl skips around
  19. the village looking for her teddy bear, which is situated on the table in the 
  20. wizard's hut. Give her the teddy and she will show you a small tunnel opening. 
  21. You will need Recipe Number One to enter.
  22.  
  23. Knight's Sword 
  24. At the far end of the passage you will return to your normal size and then you can 
  25. climb the stairs and exit through a trapdoor. You frighten the villager as you 
  26. emerge, allowing you to pick up a glowing yellow sword.
  27.  
  28. Ruined Castle 
  29. Throw the sword into the lake situated near the Ruined Castle, and the Lady Of 
  30. The Lake will appear and knight you. You can now enter the Ruined Castle, but 
  31. not through the portcullis! Further to the right there is a grassy pathway up to the 
  32. back entrance. Talk to the old man and climb the stairs up to the tower.
  33.  
  34. Recipe Number Two 
  35. MAGIC BOOK - Climb down the steps to the bottom and approach the statue 
  36. slowly. Edge forward and duck when the statue swipes. Repeat until you pass to 
  37. safety. Kill the two shield monsters that approach and then take the right-hand 
  38. path. To get past the dragon use the same tactics as before, approaching and then 
  39. ducking to avoid his spit! Climb down the steps, keeping to the left of the pathway 
  40. to avoid spikes concealed in the top and bottom steps. Run forward, then left, kill 
  41. the two stone monsters and take the magic book.
  42. HOLY RELIC - Found in the monastery. Get the bible from the church and use to 
  43. enter the monastery, then drop it and grab the bone from the altar. Run into the 
  44. library on the right and fall down the hole.
  45.  
  46. Stone Circle
  47. With Recipe Number Two in your hands, go to the stone circle found near the 
  48. castle and stand on the stone slab. After a bit of lightning and fireworks the items 
  49. transform into a magic, flaming weapon.
  50.  
  51. Sorceress 
  52. Only approach this section once you have done everything else first! Return to the 
  53. church and walk to the room with the small tunnel opening, go through the door 
  54. guarded by the skeletons, kill the group of skeletons and exit through the next 
  55. door. Continue to walk down the steps to the Sorceress. After an automated 
  56. sequence the Sorceress mutates into the Devil and invites you to sit at his table. 
  57. He will ask you to put the relic on the table:
  58. YES - You will be escorted off to Hell by nubile young wenches, where you 
  59. spend the rest of your days as a slave of Satan.
  60. NO - Get up and walk away from the table. Keep walking until the Devil 
  61. transforms into a dragon and then use the laser to destroy it. Beware though, 
  62. because the dragon only needs to hit you a couple of times before you die.
  63.  
  64.
