  7. Can someone please tell me how to defeat D'Sparil, the final boss in 
  8. the registered version of Heretic?  I have pumped an unbelievable 
  9. amount of ammunition into him and tried getting the Disciples to 
  10. kill him, but nothing has worked.  Did Raven simply make him too 
  11. difficult to defeat?  I hate solving all of a game except for the 
  12. last level.  It screws up the whole experience.

  17. He actually takes less ammo to kill than a Maulotar - he's just more
  18. agile.  I killed him on the 3rd try or so, and one time after he 
  19. killed me, I saw him get killed by a disciple.

  21. The time I killed him, I went through 2 invincibility rings (I 
  22. brought one with me into the level, and there's another in a secret 
  23. room in the level) while flaming him up close with a powered up 
  24. Phoenix rod, then trashed him from a distance with Phoenix missiles.  
  25. I didn't need help from a disciple.

  30. Actually beating D'Sparil is very easy if you have a few things.
  31.        
  32.        1.TWO tomes of power, both of which are on this level
  33.        2.Near full Dragon Claw ammo
  34.        3.Near full Ethereal Crossbow ammo
  35.  
  36. Now all you do to beat D'Sparil is turn on your tome and roast him 
  37. with Claw shots on his lizard from medium range so you can easily 
  38. dodge his fireballs. After taking out the lizard(you should be out of 
  39. claw ammo at this time too, if not keep using it) keep tome activated 
  40. and keep hitting him. I find the crossbow w/ tome works best. You can 
  41. tell if he is hurting when he starts to teleport away alot. BTW this 
  42. is done on Heretics Ultra-Violence equivalent level and works all the 
  43. time(for me at least).
