  4. Thank you for your interest in VoRTeX!  We hope you have 
  5. countless hours of fun with VoRTeX!

  7. 1) How to install VoRTeX?
  8.  
  9. There are two ways of installing VoRTeX! Please choose the one that
  10. you like.
  11.     a) From the Windows 95 START menu, select RUN.
  12.     Type a:install.exe in the dialog box and click OK.
  13.     Follow instructions given in the dialog boxes of VoRTeX
  14.     installation to complete installation.
  15.     b) Double click on My Computer.  Then double click on 3.5 
  16.     Floppy.  Double click on the yellow Install icon will start 
  17.     the installation process. Follow instructions given 
  18.     in the dialog boxes of VoRTeX installation to 
  19.     complete installation.

  21. 2) VoRTeX (TM) is a brand new board game of strategy
  22. and chance in which several game pieces are raced
  23. through a spiral path to a common finish. VoRTeX is easy
  24. to learn and on-line help guides you through any questions
  25. you might have.

  27. VoRTeX combines simple geometric shapes to provide 
  28. endless hours of fun for all ages.  This game develops 
  29. strategic thinking,  improves shape, pattern and color 
  30. recognition for children and is thought-provoking for 
  31. adults. The distance of the moves is decided by the throw 
  32. of a computer die.  The choice of which piece to move is 
  33. determined by the players so that their pieces advance 
  34. more rapidly than the pieces of their rivals.

  36. VoRTeX can be played by 1, 2, 3, or 4 players.  You may also 
  37. include the computer to play one or more positions.  A demo
  38. option is also included to quickly familiarize you to this game.

  40. You may choose the board-shape (a square or circle),  
  41. board-size (small, medium or large),  no. of game-pieces 
  42. (1,2,3 or 4),  play-level (novice, intermediate or 
  43. expert).  Other options include animation speed,  color 
  44. of game pieces and tracks.

  46. The ease and rapidity of playing VoRTeX ranges from that 
  47. of Tic-Tac-Toe to a chess game. Depending on 
  48. the options that you choose a game of VoRTeX can be over 
  49. in less than a minute or last as long as thirty minutes.

  51. If you think this game is too easy at first blush,  wait 
  52. till you win 3 out of 5 games in the following scenario!
