  2. This directory contains the SCO (license.txt) and GNU (gnu.txt)
  3. licenses which apply to your UnixWare 7 system. The SCO license
  4. is provided in English, French, German, and Spanish.
  5.  
  6. When you install the base UnixWare 7 operating system, you 
  7. have two choices:
  8.  
  9.      - entering a license number you obtained with your purchase
  10.  
  11.      - deferring licensing (which, by default, issues a 60 day
  12.        evaluation license)
  13.  
  14. Each license maps to a certain set of software and user/processor
  15. limits.
  16.  
  17. The following software components are separately licensable, though
  18. they may be included in the license you purchased:

  20. On the UnixWare 7 CD-ROM

  22.      - Online Data Manager
  23.   
  24.      - User License Packs
  25.  
  26.      - Processor License Packs
  27.  
  28.      - Strong Encryption (not available with an evaluation license)

  30.      - ARCserve/Open full functionality
  31.  
  32.      - NetWare Server
  33.  
  34. On the Development Kits CD-ROM
  35.  
  36.      - UnixWare/OpenServer Development Kit 
  37.  
  38.      - Java Development Kit 1.1.3 for SCO Operating Systems
  39.  
  40.      - The SCO Edition of Sun's Java Workshop 2.0
  41.  
  42.      - The SCO Edition of Sun's Java Studio 1.0
