This directory contains the SCO (license.txt) and GNU (gnu.txt)
licenses which apply to your UnixWare 7 system. The SCO license
is provided in English, French, German, and Spanish.

When you install the base UnixWare 7 operating system, you 
have two choices:

     - entering a license number you obtained with your purchase

     - deferring licensing (which, by default, issues a 60 day
       evaluation license)

Each license maps to a certain set of software and user/processor
limits.

The following software components are separately licensable, though
they may be included in the license you purchased:

On the UnixWare 7 CD-ROM

     - Online Data Manager
  
     - User License Packs

     - Processor License Packs

     - Strong Encryption (not available with an evaluation license)

     - ARCserve/Open full functionality

     - NetWare Server

On the Development Kits CD-ROM

     - UnixWare/OpenServer Development Kit 

     - Java Development Kit 1.1.3 for SCO Operating Systems

     - The SCO Edition of Sun's Java Workshop 2.0

     - The SCO Edition of Sun's Java Studio 1.0
