  3. Gif╖gIf╖giF
  4. by Pedagoguery Software Gif╖gIf╖giF is a small program for creating 
  5. useful animations that can be put on the internet or an intranet. It was 
  6. produced for demonstrating computer software - in action - on the world 
  7. wide web. But it is also useful for tutorials, training demonstrations, 
  8. reporting, documentation, and just plain fun animations.
  9. Gif╖gIf╖giF works like a simple video recorder. It is automated and easy 
  10. to use. Just press the start button, and whatever appears or happens on 
  11. your monitor is recorded. After the presentation, simply press the stop 
  12. button and save the file as a GIF animation. The animation can then be 
  13. played back with both of the popular web browsers - no need for 
  14. plug-ins.
  15. While Gif╖gIf╖giF is simple and easy to use, it is also flexible and 
  16. provides outstanding compression. Both the frame rate and the capture 
  17. area can be precisely selected by the user. The example animation shown 
  18. on the right was recorded at 3 frames per second, contains 154 frames, 
  19. and lasts 57 seconds. It took a couple of minutes to make using 
  20. Gif╖gIf╖giF and compressed to less than 38K.
