  19. The Autodesk Family of Products CD requires a 486/33 or
  20. faster computer with at least 8 megabytes of memory and
  21. a double speed CD ROM drive. While a sound card is not 
  22. necessary, it is highly recommended. 
  23.  
  24. NOTE:  For proper operation, there must be a Windows swap 
  25.        file of at least 4 megabytes. Please also make sure 
  26.        your Windows display is set to 256 colors (even if 
  27.        your graphics board is capable of displaying more 
  28.        colors).

  30.        Some of the demos on this CD run in DOS using 256
  31.        colors. Certain video cards may experience problems
  32.        when running the demos from Windows. If a problem
  33.        occurs, follow the instructions listed below for
  34.        running the demos from DOS.

  42. To install the Autodesk Family of Products CD, from 
  43. Windows simply select File/Run and enter D:\SETUP.EXE 
  44. where "D" is the drive letter of your CD ROM.  The 
  45. installation creates a Program Group and an Icon 
  46. from which you can start the presentation.

  48. Within the Family of Products CD, you can learn more
  49. about Autodesk and its products by making selections 
  50. at various menus -- simply single-click on any menu
  51. choice or "hot spot".  (Double-clicking is unnecessary
  52. and may even hinder performance).

  56. Running the Demos from DOS
  57. ------------------------------------------------------------

  59. The Autodesk Family of Products CD is designed to run
  60. in Windows.  However, you can view product demos of
  61. most of the applications from DOS.

  63. To view the demos from DOS (assuming D is your CD ROM
  64. drive):

  66.  1. Type D: and press ENTER
  67.  2. Type CD \ and press ENTER
  68.  3. Type DOSDEMOS and press ENTER
  69.  4. Choose a demo to view from the menu
