  1. 1) What is the latest version of AutoSync ?
  2. 2) AutoSync is not working for me what's wrong ?

  13. If Next Scheduled AutoSync will display reads "No AutoSync Pending"
  14. a) Make sure Auto Sync Active is Checked on the Main Screen
  15. b) Set Schedule one or Schedule two to your desired Schedule.  Making sure that schedule is Active (Checked)

  17. If the sync time is reached and the sync does not occur then check the following.
  18. On a Powered Cradle Palm Device such as a PalmV or PalmIIIc

  20. a) Is the Palm Device in the cradle when sync time is reached
  21. b) Is the Palm cradle plugged in so the Palm Device is charging when in the cradle ? If not then AutoSync can not detect the cradle.  Either plug in the cradle or use AutoSync Helper described in the next section for other Palm Devices

  23. On Other Palm Devices

  25. a) Is HackMaster and AutoSync Helper installed ?
  26. b) Is AutoSync Helper Activated in HackMaster (Check Mark must be selected to activate)
  27. c) Is "Disable PalmV Cradle Check" active ? (This feature is required for devices that to not have a charging cradle)
  28. d) Have you tried WakeUp Sensitivity of 4 sec and 6 sec ?

  32. a) Have you tried disabling all hack, performing a soft reset and enabeling only AutoSync Helper to determine if you have a conflict with another hack ?
  33. b) Is the HotSync application running on you PC ?

  35. 3) HackMaster looks funny on my PalmOS 3.5 Device (Such as the Palm IIIc), What's Wrong ?

  37. Hackmaster's [?] and [+] marks next each installed application do not properly
  38. display on a PalmOs 3.5 device.  This is a know bug in hackmaster that the author is aware
  39. of.  The author of HackMaster states that a new version will be released soon.
  40. Hackmaster still functions with these display bugs.  Simply select the two lines to
  41. the right of the Hack label to access the screens.
  42. Exmaple:   [?] accesses the About screen and [+] accesses the preferences
  43.     PalmOS 3.1   [ ] AutoSync Helper    [?] [+]

  48. released soon.  In the mean time you may wish to try EVPlugBase which is a Hackmaster

  57. a) Type of Palm Device
  58. b) Version of Palm OS (Access the Application Launcher and check Menu->Info->Version)
  59. c) List the Hacks you have Installed
  60. d) List the applications you have installed
  61. e) How far is AutoSync getting ? (Do you get the auto sync alarm, do you see the autosync count down screen)
  62. f) How much memory is available on your device ?
  63. g) What version of AutoSync and AutoSync helper are you using ?  Please use the latest version.
