  5. If you are running the shareware version of this application, it will
  6. time out after 30 days.  A full version, as well as other applications
  7. by the same author can be purchased at www.palmgear.com.  If you are 
  8. running the full release version please do not distribute it further.
  9.  
  10. This application, SmokeFreeZone, is a helper for people attempting to
  11. quit smoking.  To help accomplish this goal the application calculates
  12. information to help motivate the person.  
  13.  
  14. The information is:
  15.  
  16. * the number of cigarettes not smoked
  17. * the money saved
  18. * life added by not smoking
  19. * total days quit
  20.  
  21. The life added is calculated using a value of 5 minutes per cigarette 
  22. not smoked.  There is no accurate value for this, and estimates range
  23. between 5 and 20 minutes, hence the application uses the lowest estimate.
  24.  
  25. To accurately calculate the number of cigarettes not smoked, the time 
  26. and date when smoking stopped, plus the hours the person is awake during
  27. the day is entered allowing an accurate value to be calculated.  This
  28. means that whenever the application is viewed it should display a reasonably
  29. accurate number of cigarettes not smoked as the day passed.  These values 
  30. are saved so they only have to be entered once.
