  15. The Autodesk Mechanical Desktop Demo CD requires a 486/33
  16. or faster computer with at least 8 megabytes of memory
  17. and a double speed CD ROM drive. While a sound card is
  18. not necessary, it is highly recommended.
  19.  
  20. The Autodesk Mechanical Desktop Demo CD runs under
  21. Windows 3.x, Windows 95, or Windows NT Version 3.51
  22. or higher. Under Windows NT 3.51, you may experience
  23. problems depending on your system configuration.
  24.  
  25. NOTE:  For proper operation, there must be a Windows swap
  26.        file of at least 4 megabytes. Please also make sure
  27.        your Windows display is set to 256 colors (even if
  28.        your graphics board is capable of displaying more
  29.        colors).

  31.        In addition, better performance can be achieved by
  32.        closing any open applications before running.

  39. To install the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop Demo CD:
  40.  
  41. 1. Insert the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop Demo
  42.    CD in your CD-ROM drive.
  43. 2. From Windows select File/Run or from Windows 95
  44.    select Start/Run and enter D:\SETUP.EXE, where
  45.    "D" is the drive letter of your CD ROM.
  46. 3. Follow the onscreen instructions.
