[A] System Requirements
-------------------------------------------------------------

The Autodesk Mechanical Desktop Demo CD requires a 486/33
or faster computer with at least 8 megabytes of memory
and a double speed CD ROM drive. While a sound card is
not necessary, it is highly recommended.

The Autodesk Mechanical Desktop Demo CD runs under
Windows 3.x, Windows 95, or Windows NT Version 3.51
or higher. Under Windows NT 3.51, you may experience
problems depending on your system configuration.

NOTE:  For proper operation, there must be a Windows swap
       file of at least 4 megabytes. Please also make sure
       your Windows display is set to 256 colors (even if
       your graphics board is capable of displaying more
       colors).

       In addition, better performance can be achieved by
       closing any open applications before running.

[B] Installation Instructions
-------------------------------------------------------------

To install the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop Demo CD:

1. Insert the Autodesk Mechanical Desktop Demo
   CD in your CD-ROM drive.
2. From Windows select File/Run or from Windows 95
   select Start/Run and enter D:\SETUP.EXE, where
   "D" is the drive letter of your CD ROM.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions.
