  28. What is PC-TRACK?
  29.  
  30. PC-TRACK is a simple but sophisticated means of tracking
  31. earth orbiting satellites. PC-TRACK is capable of tracking up to
  32. 300 satellites simultaneously in 3D or on a flat mercator 
  33. projection! 
  34.  
  35. PC-TRACK is useful to amateur radio and weather satellite users,
  36. science teachers, experimenters, and serious satellite users.
  37. Use it for demonstrating orbital mechanics, predicting
  38. availability times, making presentations, performing satellite
  39. constellation studies, and general orbital analyses. PC-TRACK
  40. uses satellite data readily available from NASA and other
  41. sources.

  93. In order to run properly, PC-TRACK needs...

  95.       ■     any  80386SX,  80386,  80486 or Pentium processor based system.
  96.             (A math coprocessor SIGNIFICANTLY improves performance, 
  97.              but is not necessary to run.)

  99.       ■     2 - 16 MB

  101.       ■     at least 5MB of disk space.

  103.       ■     MS-DOS or PC-DOS version 5.0 or greater.

  105.       ■     VGA Color Video  (Required for  graphics use. Any  lesser video
  106.             standard will work using the TEXT track capability).

  131. Known Problems With PC-Track 3.1 
  132. ========================================================================

  134. This application utilizes the DOS Protected Mode Interface (DPMI) 
  135. protocol. This means it runs in Protected mode, which is a CPU mode 
  136. that permits programs to access ALL available extended memory in your 
  137. computer, not just a portion of the 640K conventional memory like 
  138. most of the other programs you may be running. 
  139.  
  140. This has caused problems on a handful of systems. For complete 
  141. information regarding this, see PROBLEMS.TXT.
