  2.   Starting FamiliarBlocks for the first time:
  3.   -------------------------------------------

  5.   1. Double-click the FamiliarBlocks icon on the desktop or, if there 
  6.      is no FamiliarBlocks icon, you may start your program by choosing: 
  7.      Start|Programs|FamiliarTales|FamiliarBlocks from the taskbar.  
  8.  
  9.   2. If a shortcut icon was not created during installation, we 
  10.      recommend that you create one now. This icon is very 
  11.      recognizable and will make launching the program much easier 
  12.      for your young child. To do this, go to the program directory 
  13.      where your files have been installed (the default location is: 
  14.      My Computer | C: | Program Files | FamiliarTales | FamiliarBlocks. 
  15.      To create a desktop icon, simply select the FamiliarBlocks.exe icon 
  16.      with your mouse, hold down the "shift and "control" keys at the 
  17.      same time and move the icon to the desktop. A menu will appear. 
  18.      Select " Create Shortcut Here" from this menu. (To be certain that 
  19.      you have created a "shortcut" and have not copied actual files to 
  20.      your desktop, look for a small white box with a black arrow in the 
  21.      left-hand corner of the FamiliarBlocksT icon. All Shortcut icons 
  22.      have this symbol.)

  24.   3. The first time you launch FamiliarBlocks you will be asked to 
  25.      personalize it with your child's name. Once you have written your 
  26.      child's name, the program will automatically welcome your child 
  27.      every time it launches. As an exercise in name recognition, you 
  28.      may point the name out to your child.

  30.   4. Click the arrow to continue.
  31.  
  32.   5. The next screen will include a section called  "Getting Started." 
  33.      This section, which can also be found on the FamiliarBlocks 
  34.      menu bar, is designed to introduce you to the general use features 
  35.      of FamiliarBlocks.
