  8. INSTALLATION
  9. ------------
  10. The installation utility provided (SETUP.EXE or EIOWN_15.EXE) will 
  11. install Everything I Own! on your hard disk drive, and will also 
  12. check to see that your system meets all of the program requirements. 
  13.  
  14. If you downloaded your copy of Everything I Own! from the Internet or 
  15. other online service, you should uncompress (i.e. unZIP) the files into 
  16. a *temporary* subdirectory on your hard drive, and then let the 
  17. installation program install the actual program files in a permanent 
  18. subdirectory. To install from the temporary subdirectory, switch to 
  19. the temporary subdirectory, go tp Start | Run on your Desktop, in the 
  20. text box type 'C:\TEMP\EIOWN_15.EXE' (Change the directory to your 
  21. temporary directory).
  22. Or you can use the Windows Explorer, go to the directory where you
  23. unzipped the program, and double-click EIOWN_15.EXE

  25. If you have obtained your copy of Everything I Own! on floppy disk(s), 
  26. you should insert the Disk #1  into your floppy disk drive, type 
  27. A:SETUP (or B:SETUP) in the Setup | Run text box.
