Even though Money automatically saves changes to your files, it's a good idea to make frequent backup copies. By default, Money creates a backup on your hard disk every time you finish working in a file and asks you to back up to a floppy disk every 14 days.

You can help protect your Money data by developing good backup habits:

Back up your file onto a separate floppy disk or compact disc (CD) regularly and keep it in a safe place. If your computer stops working, you'll have a recent copy.

Consider alternating between different floppy disks or CDs so that if you have trouble with one backup, you have another recent one.

Date your backups so you don't overwrite the previous one. To save hard disk space, delete outdated backups every month or so.
