  1. SITUATION:  Guerilla forces have acquired weapons caches in the vicinity of AO TAGGART.  The 
  2. weapons are located in three cache sites within an abandoned town at grid TL050404.

  4. ROE:  Rules of Engagement published 31JAN04 are in effect.  Minimize damage to local 
  5. infrastructure.
  6.  
  7. MISSION: ODA 213 attacks objectives Main Street, Alley and South Courtyard, vicinity 
  8. TL050404, commencing 041400MAY04 to seize weapons caches in order to degrade enemy 
  9. capability to arm guerilla forces.
  10.  
  11. ENEMY: Squad-sized forces armed with assault rifles and light machine guns.  
  12.  
  13. TROOPS: One organic Special Forces Operational Detachment ôAlphaö; no other friendly forces 
  14. in support.
  15.  
  16. Terrain: Abandoned adobe village with heavy damage offering numerous covered and concealed 
  17. positions.  Presence of non-combatants is unlikely.
