  3. SITUATION:  Guerilla forces have acquired weapons caches 
  4. in the vicinity of AO TAGGART.  The weapons are located in 
  5. three cache sites within an abandoned town at grid TL050404.
  6.  
  7. ROE:  Rules of Engagement published 31JAN04 are in effect.  
  8. Minimize damage to local infrastructure.
  9.  
  10. MISSION: ODA 213 attacks objectives Main Street, Alley and 
  11. South Courtyard, vicinity TL050404, commencing 041400MAY04 
  12. to seize weapons caches in order to degrade enemy capability 
  13. to arm guerilla forces.
  14.  
  15. ENEMY: Squad-sized forces armed with assault rifles and 
  16. light machine guns.  
  17.  
  18. TROOPS: One organic Special Forces Operational Detachment 
  19. ôAlphaö; no other friendly forces in support.
  20.  
  21. Terrain: Abandoned adobe village with heavy damage offering 
  22. numerous covered and concealed positions.  Presence of 
  23. non-combatants is unlikely.

  28. SITUATION:  ODA 213 seized three weapons caches intended 
  29. for use by guerilla forces in the vicinity of AO TAGGART.  
  30. The weapons are located in three sites within an abandoned 
  31. town at grid TL050404.  Guerilla forces launched a 
  32. counter-attack to retake the cache sites.

  34. ROE:  Rules of Engagement published 31JAN04 are in effect.  
  35. Minimize damage to local infrastructure.

  38. South Courtyard, vicinity TL050404, commencing 041400MAY04
