  27.      Cortex is an expert system shell that can be implemented and used
  28. by people who do not possess programming skills.  Knowledge bases of up
  29. to 1000 questions and 1000 solutions may be built up incrementally using
  30. only plain English, and additions to the data do not necessitate a
  31. restructuring of the exising information.  Questions and solutions may
  32. be put into the knowledge base in any order.
  33.      Cortex recognises that a user may not possess all relevant infor-
  34. mation and that a problem may have more than one solution.  "Don't know"
  35. answers to questions are treated as meaningful, and a complex problem
  36. can receive two or more solutions ranked in order of reliability.
  37.      Cortex version 1.6 is a compact DOS-based program requiring only
  38. 270k of disk space.  It is suitable for the smaller business and for
  39. departments within corporations.  Version 1.6 is not a large
  40. interconnectable corporate system.

  66. 1995 most (but not all) telephone numbers will need a ONE added to the
  67. dialling code.  FLINTphONE reads through ASCII text files looking for
  68. telephone numbers.  Each number is compared to the official OFTEL list
  69. of changes and a full report of changes is made.  The new text file
  70. can then be imported back into the application or database.

  200. Revenue's forms from paper into electronic format.  The "interview"
