  8.      NAME
  9.           Version - Report version numbers of current system software.

  11.      SYNOPSIS
  12.           Version Name VERSION REVISION UNIT LIB/s

  14.      DESCRIPTION
  15.           By default, Version reports the current versions of
  16.           Kickstart, Workbench and arp.library in use on your Amiga.
  17.           If you specify a name (which may be a library or a device),
  18.           Version attempts to find out which version the system will
  19.           use when accessed.

  21.      OPTIONS
  22.           VERSION
  23.                Accepts a numeric argument.  If the version of the
  24.                library or device in question is not the same as this
  25.                argument, the return code will be set to WARN.
  26.  
  27.           REVISION
  28.                Like VERSION, but checks the revision number of the
  29.                specified library or device.
  30.  
  31.           UNIT Useful only with some devices, to access a unit other
  32.                than zero.
  33.  
  34.           LIB  Indicates the file is a library, and not a device.  You
  35.                need this switch if you have a library which does not
  36.                end in ".library".

  43.           Note that the above values may be different depending on
  44.           what versions of each software you are running.

  46.      DIAGNOSTICS
  47.           "You need arp.library V 0+" if arp.library is not in current
  48.           LIBS:  directory.
  49.           A Workbench version of -1.-1 if version.library is not in
  50.           current LIBS:  directory.

  52.      CAUTION
  53.       You should not run VERSION indiscriminately on files
  54.       which are not in the libs: or devs: directories, or your
  55.       system may GURU.
