  8.      NAME
  9.           Type - Type a file, possibly with line numbers or in hex.

  11.      SYNOPSIS
  12.           Type File/... TO/k OPT/k [HNBF] HEX/s NUMBER/s

  14.      DESCRIPTION
  15.           Type displays a file on the current window, or, if a TO
  16.           argument is supplied, to a file.  With the ARP version of
  17.           Type, you can type many files with one TYPE command, and use
  18.           wildcards as well.  Note that due to this enhancement of
  19.           Type it is possible to dispense with Join, since Type can do
  20.           Join's job as well as its own.

  22.           If you use Type without a filename, it will read from its
  23.           standard input. This allows you to use Type in a pipeline,
  24.           or to send keyboard input to a device (such as a printer) or
  25.           a file. To terminate an interactive session with Type, use
  26.           C-\ (Control \)

  28.      OPTIONS
  29.           HEX or OPT H
  30.                This displays the file(s) in hexadecimal.

  32.           NUMBER or OPT N
  33.                This displays the file(s) with line numbers.

  35.           OPT B
  36.                This option (new with this ARP release) will display a
  37.                banner before each file, indicating the name of the
  38.                file being typed.  This is very useful with wildcards.

  40.           OPT F
  41.                This option (new with this ARP release) will print a
  42.                formfeed at the end of each file displayed.  This will
  43.                cause the screen to be cleared on the terminal, or the
  44.                current page to be ejected from the printer.

  46.       TO file
  47.            The TO option lets you select a destination file
  48.            instead of typing to the console.  Note that with the
  49.            ARP TYPE, you must explicitly specify the TO keyword,
  50.            unlike the Commodore TYPE.
