  2. Problem  The size of this application is not reflective of it's
  3.          substance. However, it does contain many interesting techniques
  4.          for using 1-2-3 to manage "desktop" related activities.  The
  5.          application consolidates into a single worksheet, 3 databases
  6.          and two work areas.  Databases are used as: a "message minder",
  7.          an "appointment calander", and a "client-tracker".  One of the
  8.          workareas, the "scratch pad", is simply an empty portion of
  9.          the worksheet.  The other is a "memo-writer" work area
  10.          accompanied by a handy Range Justify macro and a printing macro.

  12.          The "message minder" database can be used to manage phone
  13.          messages and to-dos.  It contains the following fields: Category,
  14.          Date, Name, Phone, Cleared?, Matter, Company, and Address.

  16.          The "Appointment Calender" database contains the following
  17.          fields:  Date, Time, With, Action.

  20.          client, purpose, date, hours, and action.
