  7. INFORMATION:   A user reports that the FLAG command in NetWare 386 v3.1
  8.                also flags hidden files so that the hidden files are no
  9.                longer hidden.  For example:

  11.                FLAG *.* Normal
  12.  
  13.                This is also the case under NetWare 286.  If you have
  14.                NetWare 286 v2.15c or below, the FLAG command only allows
  15.                you to change four of the eight options (Shareable, Read
  16.                Only, Indexed, and Transactional).  With NetWare 386 v3.0
  17.                and up, you can change all of the attributes with flag and
  18.                if you use the NetWare 386 FLAG with NetWare 286, you can
  19.                change all of the attributes on the NetWare 286 server. 
  20.                However, you must have modify rights.  In NetWare 286, files
  21.                are hidden with the HIDEFILE and unhidden with the SHOWFILE
  22.                commands.
