- GENERAL
- INFORMATION: If you are trying to bridge more than (or around) 50
- file servers using internal bridging running NetWare
- that is prior to NetWare v2.15, you will more than
- likely start to loose your router tables and experience
- problems with workstations not being able to log into
- servers, or workstations not seeing some of the servers,
- etc.
-
- The reason is that prior to NetWare v2.15 we used memory
- pool 3 to keep the tables in. Due to the limitation of
- the size of that particular memory pool, we were limited
- to the amount of internal bridging that could be done
- without over filling and loosing part of the routing
- tables. Starting with v2.15 we broke the tables up and
- distributed them differently in memory. You should not
- have this limitation with NetWare versions from v2.15 on.
