  8. PROBLEM:       There was/is a timing problem with the IBM 16/4 TRN card in
  9. 386 machines running at 33 MHz (and beyond).  It filters down to a
  10. situation where the card is not certified to run at that speed.

  12.                For us at Novell, this manifested itself as a problem
  13. primarily with the NetWare Access Server in 33 MHz (most often Compaq)
  14. machines with the 16/4 card.

  16. SOLUTION:      If you use TBZ=1024 when loading the TRN driver, then the
  17. problem should disappear.  This parameter can only be used with the latest
  18. Token Ring drivers (shipped with 386 v3.1 or TRN050.ZIP on NetWire). 
  19. Future drivers and boards will fix the problem so that you will not have
  20. to use TBZ when loading the driver.
