  8.             PROBLEM  : I installed a Novell NE2000 Ethernet board in my Compaq
  9. Systempro. The board will not communicate with the network. The same board
  10. works fine in my Compaq Deskpro 386/25.  What is going on here?

  12.            SOLUTION  : Even though the NE2000 is not an EISA board, the
  13. Systempro still needs to be configured so that conflicts can be resolved.
  14. From the Systempro main menu, select the option to copy a configuration file
  15. from the library. The NE2000 is one of the options in the library. After it is
  16. copied, you can then tell the Systempro which slot the card is installed in
  17. and which I/O port and interrupt it is using. This config file will also work
  18. for the NE1000.
