  8. GENERAL INFORMATION  : Whenever a customer calls in with questions regarding
  9. NetWare 386 and the Compaq Systempro, always check to make sure that they are
  10. using the correct disk driver.
  11.  
  12. The driver that they should be using is called "cpqda386.dsk." It is found
  13. on the "user programs" diskette that is shipped with the Systempro. It is
  14. in a subdirectory called "nw386" on that diskette.
  15.  
  16. While the "isadisk.dsk" driver will work with the Systempro, the
  17. cpqda386.dsk driver allows the drives to be accessed at the time for a
  18. substainial performance increase.

  20. This is the reason why Barry Gerber when comparing benchmarks run at Compaq
  21. last fall and then at UCLA in December saw such varying results.
