- Question:
- Recently the question arose: Do Novell's TSR's (IPX, NET? and
- NetBIOS) need to use their environment space once they become
- resident? And, if not, do they free up this environment space?
-
- Answer:
- 386MAX Professional allows you to use this environment space if
- it is not needed, but warns against using it if it is needed, as
- serious problems may arise as a result. For NetWare 3.0 and
- below, we don't need it, but we don't free it up. Therefore,
- 386MAX will use it if you enable it. The next release of the
- NetWare shell files will free it up.
