  13. Symptom:      Error messages are generated about lost hardware interrupts.

  15. Problem:      There are two possible causes for this problem. If the 
  16.               server is a 486 system, there is a documented problem with 
  17.               lost hardware interrupts with the 486 chip.  If the server 
  18.               is a 386 system and is using the NE/2 or NE2000 LAN driver, 
  19.               there is a timing problem between the LAN driver and the 
  20.               NetWare OS.

  22. Solution or 
  23. Workaround:   There is no apparent operational side effect to this 
  24.               problem, so you can ignore these messages.  If they are 
  25.               generated frequently, you can instruct the system to stop 
  26.               displaying the messages by using this SET command line:  
  27.               SET Display Lost Interrupt Alerts = OFF
