  9. PROBLEM:       We had a customer using a Conner 105MB IDE drive with
  10.                NetWare 386 v3.1.  He picked an option with 8 heads, 776
  11.                cylinders, and 33 sectors per track and it failed.  He could
  12.                not see the drive.  INSTALL would say that no drive could be
  13.                found.

  15. SOLUTION:      He chose an option with 11 heads, 1024 cylinders, and 17
  16.                sectors per track.  INSTALL could see the drive, but only
  17.                97MB were available.  
  18.  
  19.                Conner includes a configuration utility to configure the
  20.                drive type that is being used.  You select the drive
  21.                parameters with this utility.  The customer was not using
  22.                the utility.
