  7. INFORMATION:   IBM does not support the 16/4 running at 16Mbit on
  8.                Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) at all.  They say it will work
  9.                for short distances. 
  10.  
  11.                Some third party companies, Proteon for example, support
  12.                16Mbit on UTP with their MAUs, but some of the
  13.                specifications per ring change.  One of Proteons
  14.                specifications is that you are limited to 100 nodes per ring
  15.                instead of 255 (IBMs spec. is 255).  Contact the vendor for
  16.                further information on their products.
