- INFORMATION: IBM does not support the 16/4 running at 16Mbit on
- Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) at all. They say it will work
- for short distances.

- Some third party companies, Proteon for example, support
- 16Mbit on UTP with their MAUs, but some of the
- specifications per ring change. One of Proteons
- specifications is that you are limited to 100 nodes per ring
- instead of 255 (IBMs spec. is 255). Contact the vendor for
- further information on their products.
