  7. INFORMATION:   Recently, some questions have come up concerning Digital's
  8.                Depca Ethernet NICs and maybe this information can help
  9.                regarding hardware restrictions.  In the past, Digital sold
  10.                one style Depca (8-bit) and it was limited to a 8MHz bus
  11.                speed (IBM PC, XT).  Several people still have the old card
  12.                and cannot get them to work in faster machines.  In speaking
  13.                with Digital, they now offer four Depca NICs:

  15.                Depca-jr (8-bit, 8MHZ bus) for XTs and ATs below 10MHz.
  16.                Depca-turbo (16-bit) for ATs above 10MHz.  
  17.                Depca-turbo-twisted pair for ATs above 10MHz.  
  18.                Demca, for Micro Channel bus.
