  6. PROBLEM:       A customer was running NETGEN installation on a IBM PS/2
  7.                Model 80 and had an IBM Token-Ring adapter installed.  He
  8.                got the error "Packed file is corrupt".  After changing
  9.                everything (NetWare, Model 80, Token-Ring adapter) he called
  10.                Novell.

  12. SOLUTION:      Attach a workstation patch cable (the one that runs from the
  13.                workstation to the MAU).  Without even plugging it into the
  14.                MAU, it went past the place where it was erroring out. 
  15.   
  16.                Also be advised that you have to have the same cable
  17.                attached (once again it doesn't have to be plugged into the
  18.                MAU) for the file server to come up.
