-
- PROBLEM: While running UPGRADE, a customer received the message
- "Error file (byte size) read 0 bytes". At this point UPGRADE
- quit.
-
- SOLUTION: If you have been using the transfer method when UPGRADE fails
- then copy over the remaining data using NCOPY. In other cases
- you will have to run UPGRADE again and exclude the file.
-
- PROBLEM: A customer had a Mac files on his 286 server volume. He didn't
- remember to add Mac name space to his NetWare 386 volume. After
- running UPGRADE for an hour, it tried to access the first Mac
- file and aborted execution because it couldn't copy it.
-
- SOLUTION: Be sure to add Mac name space to the 386 file server before
- running UPGRADE.
