- PROBLEM: While running NetWare 386 v3.0 (may also happen with v3.1),
- a Mitronics 386/33 with 64K RAM cache would frequently get
- the message "Abend: Invalid opcode interrupt". This only
- happened with the RAM cache enabled. A Mitronics 386/25
- with 32K RAM cache did not have that problem.
-
- Any ideas why the RAM cache caused problems. Do other
- machines with 64K RAM cache have problems?
-
- SOLUTION: We have seen this with some of the ALR Flexcache machines.
- In general it is always good to disable the caching on
- machines that do their own caching to ensure that it does
- not conflict with the caching that NetWare is doing. When
- everything is up and running, they can try enabling it to
- see if they get any problems.
