  4.          PC LIMITED/286 AND AST-EMS BOARDS COMPATIBILITY

  7. Below is a list of switch settings needed for the PC Limited/286
  8. System to work with AST-EMS boards.
  9.  
  10. For a starting address of 256K, the PC Limited/286 motherboard's
  11. SW1 should be set as follows:
  12.  
  13.   1-5 (To be determined by user, they have no affect on memory.),
  14.   6-OFF, 7-ON, 8-ON
  15.  
  16.  
  17. For starting  address of  640K and the AST-EMS board, set for all
  18. expanded memory.  Set SW1 as follows:
  19.  
  20.   1-5 (same)
  21.   6-ON, 7-OFF, 8-ON
  22.  
  23.  
  24. For all extended memory, starting at 1024K, set SW1 as follows:

  26.   1-5 (same)
  27.   6-ON, 7 & 8-OFF

  30. Set up must be ran after installing the AST-EMS boards.
