  7. It  has  been  determined that the original version  of  the  AST
  8. Rampage  AT board will not operate consistently in the IBM  Model
  9. 339  AT (8 Mhz clock speed).  This condition has been verified by
  10. AST Research.
  11.  
  12. What may happen with this board installed in the Model 339 AT  is
  13. that  either the REMM.SYS program will not recognize any  Rampage
  14. AT memory,  or  "Parity errors" will be generated when attempting
  15. to address the memory.

  17. These  boards  can be identified by their  revision  level.  This
  18. number  can  be  found on the back (solder side)  of  the  board,
  19. etched along the edge of the board that is opposite the  mounting
  20. bracket.   Any  board with one of the following numbers should be
  21. considered suspect:

  23.                    202079 - 301 -A, -B, or -C
  24.                    202079 - 302 -A
  25.  
  26. These  customers  should  contact  AST  Research  to  have  their
  27. Rampage AT exchanged for a later revision.

  29. If  the revision level is the following (or above) the board will
  30. operate in the Model 339 AT:
