  2.                           REGISTERING THE 940 SPOILER

  4.      As with  all shareware packages, the 940 Spoiler is supported by those who
  5. obtain registered  copies of  the software  and  documentation.    The  QSO2000
  6. project is  not Microsoft  Corporation, and  nobody in  the project wants it to
  7. become more  than a cooperative endeavor among the avant garde communicators of
  8. the world  so that  the world  of amateur-radio communications can more rapidly
  9. become better.
  10.  
  11.      Several hundreds  of hours  of  research,  trial-and-error,  and  software
  12. development have  gone into  development of  the 940  Spoiler, and  before  the
  13. useful life of the program is over several hundreds of additional hours will go
  14. into its  maintenance and  enhancement.  We urge you to consider the value that
  15. the 940  Spoiler represents  to you  and to appropriately register your copy of
  16. the software  by your printing the form provided below and mailing it with your
  17. remittance to The QSO2000 Project.

  19.      Your registration  of the  940 Spoiler  brings you  by return mail a full-
  20. featured registered copy the latest version of the 940 Spoiler on diskette.  It
  21. also entitles you to free upgrades of the 940 Spoiler software for a year after
  22. your registration.

  24.      Registered copies  include your  name and call sign on the opening screen,
  25. no shareware notice with its attendant delay, and the following features.

  27.                 Keypad tuning acceleration and deceleration
  28.                 Keypad control of transmit function
  29.                 Automatic saving of edited scan pedometers
  30.                 Memory-file opening while the Spoiler is running
  31.  
  32.      Shareware examination  copies of  the 940  Spoiler maintained and enhanced
  33. throughout the  lifetime of  the package  to a  lesser extent  than  registered
  34. copies are.    Rewards  for  sharing  in  the  resources  expended  by  further
  35. development of the package are significant.

  37.      Please distribute  shareware examination  copies of  the latest version of
  38. the 940  Spoiler to  other operators  as widely as you care to so that they are
  39. invited to  share in  our progress.  Please include all of the files in the 940
  40. Spoiler package.   If  you charge  a handling  fee for  distributing  shareware
  41. examination copies  on diskette,  you must charge no more than $4.00.  You  may
  42. not, of course, distribute copies of your registered version of the 940 Spoiler
  43. in accordance with the licensing agreement on the form printed below.

  45.      Shareware examination  copies of the 940 Spoiler are available on diskette
  46. directly from  the QSO2000  Project for  a media  and mailing fee of $2.50, and
  47. registered copies  are available  for the licensing fee of $39.00.  The address

  94. responsibility for  the use  of the software in the operating environment of my
  95. design and within my control.
