- COMMAND: SCRN (Screen Saver) DOCUMENTATION : On-line
-
- FUNCTION: Blanks the screen after specified number of minutes of inactivity
- on the keyboard or display.
-
- FORMAT: SCRN n
-
- TYPE: Public domain software
-
- REMARKS: n is the delay interval in minutes from 1 to 9 (default=10 minutes).
- SCRN is an improved version of SCRNSAVE which gives the user control
- over the delay interval. The display is blanked after n minutes of
- inactivity on the keyboard or the display. Once blanked, the display
- can be restored by pressing any key. The delay interval can be reset
- to a smaller interval by entering SCRN n again. Once executed, this
- capability can only be disabled by re-booting the system. This
- command is usually executed from an AUTOEXEC.BAT file. SCRN will
- work with either a color or monochrome monitor.
