  3. FUNCTION: Changes the name of a sub-directory.

  5. FORMAT:   RDIR [d:]oldname newname

  9. REMARKS:  The name of the sub-directory oldname is changed to newname on the
  10.           specified drive. The directory names must be simple names without
  11.           path qualifiers. Wildcard characters may be used in specifying the
  12.           directory names. If no drive is specified, the directory to be
  13.           renamed must be a sub-directory of the current directory. Entering
  14.           RDIR with no arguements displays a short description of the correct
  15.           syntax.
