  3. GolfTrac Assistant is an add-on application to GolfTrac to provide
  4. added functionality and assist with database restoration in the
  5. event of a bad backup.
  6.  
  7. GolfTrac Assistant provides:
  8.  
  9. -Database Magic - Breaks the association between GolfTrac and it's
  10. databases so that GolfTrac can be easily upgraded. 
  11.  
  12. -Export - Export your rounds as "tab" or "comma" delimited text to
  13. a memo pad. Copy that text to Excel or your favorite spread sheet
  14. for backup, to print a hard copy for the 4-some, or perform further
  15. analysis.

  17. -Hookup - reattach broken round/course relationships. With the release
  18. of Palm Desktop 2.0 3rd party backups were broken. If you happen to
  19. lose your course database this let's you recreate the course and
  20. reattach rounds to it.

  31. (formerly FpsDBA) are purely optional. They are not needed to use and
  32. enjoy GolfTrac. They merely provide additional functionality or a work
  33. around for a specific problem, usually a problem we have no control
  34. over and are forced to work around. We want you to have the best
  35. Golf Scoring PDA application on the market and strive to obtain that
  36. goal. It is through utilities and add-ons like these that help us
  37. obtain that goal.
