  15. I do run multi-line, but one is private with only a 2400b modem.  I've tested
  16. the system under the conditions which you described, and there was some
  17. slow-down on the 14,400 file transfer while I was transferring files with the
  18. 2400 (but nothing to get excited about).  The transmit AND receive sessions
  19. seem to be staying in the 1600-1700 cps ranges for 14400 connects.  Once, my
  20. transfer speeds did drop, but I located the problem and fixed it:

  22. In my run-db.bat file (which starts up D'Bridge), I included the folowing
  23. lines:

  26.     MODE COM1 OCTS=ON
  27.     MODE COM1 BUFFER=ON

  29. That seems to have solved the transfer rate problem for me.  ;-)

  31. BTW, I'm running a 386-33 with 8MB RAM (4 is WAY TOO SLOW!), USR Dual
  32. Standard connected to a serial card with the NS16550AFN UART installed.
