  1. MESSAGE SUBSYSTEM

  4. MESSAGE SUB-BOARDS
  5. ------------------
  6. * - Board List.  You will be given a list of sub-boards you have access to.
  7. # - Typing a number will change your current sub-board to that sub-board
  8.     number.
  9. S - Scan Messages. This command allows you to read the messages on the sub-
  10.     board you are currently on.
  11. P - Post. This will allow you to post a message on the current sub-board.
  12. R - Remove. This allows you to remove messages you have previously posted.
  13. N - New-San. This will allow you to read the new messages on the current sub-
  14.     board or Globally if you answer 'Y' to the prompt.
  15. Z - Express newscan. This will read all new messages on all selected
  16.     sub-boards, but without pausing between messages. This is useful for
  17.     capturing all new messages, then logging off, and calling back later to
  18.     reply.
  19. K - Kill New-Scan Pointers. Make new-scan pointers up to date (no new
  20.     messages).
  21. L - Load Workspace. Allows one to upload a textfile for use in the next
  22.     post or letter.
  23. + - Add Sub-Board To New-Scan. Adds the current sub-board into the flagged
  24.     subs to scan during a new-scan.
  25. - - Remove Sub-Board From New-Scan. Removes the current sub-board from the
  26.     flagged subs to scan during a new-scan.

  28. >,] - Move up one sub-board. (ie, if you were on sub #1, and hit one of
  29.       these, you would be in sub #2)
  30. <,[ - Move down one sub-board. (ie, if you were on sub #2, and hit one of
  31.       these, you would be in sub #1)

  33. GENERAL
  34. -------
  35. T - Transfer System. This is the Upload/Download section of the bulletin
  36.     board. It allows one to trade files through the BBS.
  37. E - Electronic Post Office. This will bring you to the post office, where
  38.     all E-Mail/Letters are transacted and such.
  39. U - Users Listing/Sub. Shows you the current users and part of their stats
  40.     if they have access to the current sub-board you are reviewing.
  41. C - Chat with Sysop.  This command turns on a pager, which may attract or
  42.     distract the attention of the Sysop.
  43. F - Feedback.  This enables you to send a letter to the sysop personally
  44.     instead of accessing the Post Office.

  46. OTHER COMMANDS
  47. --------------
  48. Q - Quit To MAIN MENU system.
  49. ? - Show the Message Menu screen.
  50. X - Xpert/Novice Mode Toggle.  This will toggle the display of the main menu
  51.     after each command is entered.
  52. O - Outta Here. This loggs you off the system.

  56. /O - Log off immediately. This will hang you up instantly.
  57. /C - Clear The Screen. Sends a clearscreen code and will clear your screen.
