  2. ==========

  4. SYSOP ONLY FUNCTIONS
  5. --------------------
  6. ! - Validate User. This command will prompt for a username/number and will
  7.     go about editing the user's statistics (SL/TSL/AR/TAR/RES).
  8. $ - Sysop Chat Status. This will toggle the avilablility of the sysop for
  9.     chat purposes.
  10. B - Board Editor. This will edit the message subsystem. NOTE: BE SURE TO
  11.     EXECUTE A 'NEW-SCAN RESET' FOLLOWING ANY CHANGES TO THE SYSTEM'S
  12.     MESSAGE BASE.
  13. C - Configure System. This will allow the system configuration utility to
  14.     be executed.
  15. D - DOS Shell. This will allow access to DOS.
  16. G - General Files Editor. This will edit the general files subsystem.
  17. I - Infoform Read. This will allow one to read user infoforms according to
  18.     username/number.
  19. M - Mail (GLOBAL) Read. This will allow you to read all the private mail on
  20.     the system.
  21. P - Program/Door Editor. This will allow you to edit the program/door
  22.     subsystem.
  23. R - Reboot Computer. This will allow you to warm-boot the system.
  24. S - Switch Users. This will allow you to "switch" to a user (become that
  25.     user) with a temporary SL of 255.
  26. T - Transfer Editor. This will allow you to edit the transfer subsystem.
  27. U - User Editor. This will allos you to edit the individual users on the
  28.     system.

  30. CO-SYSOP/SYSOP FUNCTIONS
  31. ------------------------
  32. @ - Assimilate Votes. Collects the voting booth data into VOTING.TXT, and
  33.     the sysop has the option to view it following the compilation.
  34. ? - Menu. Prints the menu corresponding to the area of the system.
  35. A - Ascii Text Editor. Allows you to edit a text file with a simple editor.
  36. E - Edit Any File. Allows you to edit a text file in a directory other than
  37.     the BBS root and textfiles directories.
  38. F - Freshen Data/Users. This will update the user's file and system's data
  39.     from deleted users and old data.
  40. L - Logfiles. This will allow you to see the system log files; Today's,
  41.     Yesterday's, Network Log, and the Zlog (compiled logfile).
  42. N - New-Scan Users Reset. IMPORTANT FUNCTION: Resets the new-scan pointers
  43.     of the users on the system. It will prompt for the last user number to
  44.     reset (this should be the highest user number of the users on your
  45.     system).
  46. O,/O - Outta Here. Option to log-off from the sysop menu.
  47. Q - Quit. Quits the sysop menu and returns to the main menu.
  48. V - Voting Editor. Allows you to change the voting questions.
  49. W - Workspace Load. Allows you to load a textfile on the system into the
  50.     editing workspace for insertion to a message/letter.
  51. X - Xpert/Novice Toggle. Toggles menu after each command is issued.
  52. Z - Zystem Ztatz. Prints simple system statistics such as number of users,
  53.     activity, and date/time functions.
