  1. DOWNLOAD A FILE

  4.     If you chose this option from the download main menu, you may enter the
  5. filename you wish to download using global filename characters, such as '*'
  6. and '?'.  So if you enter, say, "*.PAS", you will be given the option of
  7. downloading all matching files in the current directory.
  8.     After you specify a file, you will be given information on that file,
  9. such as the description, who uploaded it, and when it was upload, as well
  10. as the file length. The approximate transfer time is also given, although
  11. this is usually an over-estimate if you have a good connection.
  12.     You will then be asked what transfer protocol to use. Hit '?' for a list
  13. of protocols. If you do not wish to download this file, hit '0' to skip this
  14. file, or 'Q' to abort any other files following this with the same filespec.
  15.     If you decide to download the file with a batch protocol, hit '*'. It
  16. will be added to a "queue."  When you wish to download the files marked for
  17. batch protocol, from the download main menu hit "B".  You will then have the
  18. option of downloading those files.
